Systematic Beauty DIY

Organize my beauty!

If you're like many women, then you tend to have more makeup brushes and types of makeup than will easily fit on your counter space. Fortunately, there are a few tips for organizing your beauty supplies that will allow you to find what you need when you're ready to go out for the day or evening. In addition, these are some inexpensive ways to use some items that maybe laying around your home!

Instead of using plastic bags or a box for your brushes, use mugs with your initials or a fun design on them. This makes keeping your makeup brushes in one place a bit livelier and more colorful than simply having them on the counter.

Candle jars also work well, and you can decorate them with stickers or other materials to personalize them. Remove the eye shadow colors from your palettes to make one large compartment. You'll have your favorite colors in one place so that you don't have to hunt through several different compacts to find what you want to wear.

A dishwasher basket with the holes for eating utensils transforms into a creative way to store lipstick and fingernail polish. The holes keep the bottles and containers from falling over. You can organize your makeup by color using this simple tool that you probably already have at home. This kind of basket also works well for keeping brushes in one place.

All of your makeup palettes can be stored in a mail file to keep the eye shadow or another kind of makeup inside from breaking. If you don't have a lot of space on your counter, then consider using a turntable shelf in one corner to keep everything in one place.
